Legal & Safety · Version in force for TBF 2028

Policies

Clear rules, so everyone can dance freely.

Code of Conduct

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to follow our Code of Conduct and help us create a space where everyone feels safe, respected, and welcome.

Our Code applies to all event participants, including attendees, performers, staff, volunteers, and stallholders. It outlines the behaviors we expect, as well as those that won't be accepted.

The most current version of the Code will always be available on our website. Because we're committed to community safety, we may update the Code at any time. The version in place at the time of the event will apply.

We take breaches of the Code seriously. Anyone who chooses not to follow it may be removed from the event, denied entry, or banned from future events (with no refund).

If you experience or witness something that doesn't feel right, please speak to our event team or use our reporting process (available anonymously if needed).

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the official website of Tunisia Bachata Festival ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website, purchasing tickets, or engaging with our services, you agree to the following terms:

  • All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled.
  • Paying in instalments:
    • When we offer it at checkout, you can pay for your order in 3 instalments instead of all at once, for orders of €100 or more. It cannot be combined with a discount code or any other discount, except the code of a partner dance school.
    • A plan fee of 10% of your order is added and split across the instalments. It is the price of spreading your payments and is the same whatever payment method you use. Before you pay, checkout shows the total, the fee and the amount and due date of each instalment.
    • You pay the first instalment at checkout and the second and third 30 and 60 days later; the last instalment always falls due at least 2 months before the first day of the festival. You pay each one on our payment provider's secure page, from the link on your plan page and in our emails; we never charge your card automatically. You may pay an instalment early.
    • Your place, and any accommodation in your order, is reserved from the first instalment at the price shown when you ordered. Your tickets are sent by email once the last instalment is paid; until then they cannot be used for entry.
    • We remind you by email before each due date. Instalments you have paid are not refunded, including if you stop paying. While your plan is running, you can instead transfer your order to another person for €10 per ticket: they take over the instalments still due, and your place and any accommodation pass to them at the price of your order; use the Transfer page of the festival website. If an instalment is still unpaid 7 days after its due date, we may agree a new date with you or cancel your order; if we cancel it, your place and any accommodation go back on sale.
    • If we cancel the festival, we refund everything you paid, including the plan fee.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to purchase tickets.
  • A tourist tax of 3.5 TND per person per night for Tunisian guests and 12 TND per person per night for foreign guests applies and will be payable upon arrival at the hotel.
  • We reserve the right to change schedules, artists, venues, or programming.
  • Unauthorized resale or duplication of tickets is prohibited and could lead to legal actions.
  • Photography and videography may occur during the event; your attendance grants us the right to use your likeness for promotional purposes.
  • By purchasing a ticket you accept these terms, including receiving service and marketing emails about SparkleUp Events festivals. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in each email.
